THE GREAT GATSBY team welcomes new participants

Active work on THE GREAT GATSBY ballet has commenced. The audition took place and now the production has started. Director and choreographer of the project Dwight Rhoden together with his assistants – dancers of the Complexions Contemporary Ballet – Gary Jeter and Christina Dooling – spend eight hours daily in the dance room creating the unusual choreography of the ballet.

Christina Dooling: “Even though we are just beginning, you can really feel the influence of such a spectacular decade infusing with our modern day approach...the music, the costumes, the overall design... I cannot wait to see The Great Gatsby in all of its glory!”

Christina and Gary have been working with Dwight Rhoden for many years, but it is this project that especially thrills them.

Gary Jeter: “I was honored when Dwight asked me to be a part of the creation of The Great Gatsby! Dwight is one of the most influential choreographers ever, and his vision of The Great Gatsby is very elaborate and will be very special.”
